Like the Bird – the legacy of Mrs. Belle Fennelly
collected and transcribed by Christina Smith
This important and beautiful book contains 82 notated dance tunes from Mrs. Belle Fennelly, the Southern Shore accordion legend. The sheet music includes chords and accordion tablature.
In addition, 120 photos and short oral histories outline her biography and depict the changes in life and culture of the Southern Shore of Newfoundland through the 20th century and into the 21st.
Proceeds from the sale of this book will be used to support traditional music of the Southern Shore.
